Dr Michelle White completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University in Townsville in 2005 and has worked in rural and remote areas across the South Pacific, NSW and QLD. Since 2008, she has integrated skin cancer checks and treatments into her day-to-day general practice as she is passionate about skin health. Her extensive experience is backed by advanced university-assured qualifications in dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery.

With Australia having the highest skin cancer incidence in the world, Dr White has a special interest in the early detection, diagnosis and management of the disease.

Dr White also has specialist training in aesthetic procedures for medical skin conditions and cosmetic dermatology. She enjoys tailoring personal and realistic treatment plans for her patients to help achieve radiant, natural-looking skin. Having obtained CIBTAC and CIDESCO Diplomas of Beauty Therapy from Cork College of Commerce (Ireland) Laura worked in aesthetic and beauty therapy in Cardiff (Wales) and later in County Waterford (Ireland) in prestigious clinics for many years.

She moved to Australia in 2008 initially working as a beauty therapist in Perth. The following year, Laura relocated to Townsville to study a Certificate III in Aged Care and then went on to complete her Diploma in Enrolled Nursing. She has been employed by Blue Care as a nurse since 2011.

Laura joined the Skin Repair team in 2014 where both her nursing and aesthetic beauty skills have been greatly appreciated. With Skinovation opening its doors, Laura’s skill set and caring nature is a real asset for the clinic.

Cosmetic Nurse Debra completed her Bachelor of Nursing Science at James Cook University in 1993. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years in hospitals, medical practices and aged care facilities in Townsville, Redcliffe and Caboolture. She has completed Cosmetic Injectable Foundation & Advanced Training through Derma Medical and has worked as a Cosmetic Nurse for several years.

Debra provides injectable treatments such as dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections, topical skin therapies such as microdermabrasion and peels, and personalised consultations tailored to her patients’ needs. She enjoys helping her patients to achieve their skin and aesthetic goals and providing comprehensive assessment and education to assist with their journey. She hopes to help patients look and feel their best to boost their confidence and live their best life.
